It's a make-or-break situation for Fabricio Werdum

Affliction on for a big burst on MMA scene

He does not have a license to promote but on the other hand Tom Atencio has already got the stick down. He is just a month away from promoting the first card of Mixed Martial arts cards but he has already started touting it as if it is going to be the best in sport’s history.

It might act as a stretch. Well it is going to feature as many as six of the world’s best heavyweights and many of the world’s finest wrestlers so as to hold the interest of the most ardent fans of MMA fans.

Atencio has got a card which is stacked with expensive, elite and big heavyweights such as Aleksander Emelianenko, Andrei Arlovski, Fedor Emelianenko, Josh Barnett, Ben Rothwell, Pedro Rizzo and Tim Sylvia.

Now if you are a fan of MMA then you can have a look at this card. Even a casual fan would get interested in this.

Atencio is very much aware of the shortcomings and strengths of Pride but at the same time very much convinced that Affliction would make a tremendous impact in the industry. Atencio has sponsored many fighters and have paid those wrestlers thousands of dollars to get their merchandise into the ring or cage in various promotions for MMA.
