It's a make-or-break situation for Fabricio Werdum

Davis dominating in MMA debut

Heath Davis, the pharmaceutical editor has been in a dominant position since he has started his career in martial arts.

Heath Davis works hard during the work week and that too wearing a suit, visits the offices of various doctors. But then he was no longer working as a sales mediator but a gladiator.

With a record of three amateur wins under his belt, Davis happens to be a winner via submission against Tony Hunter.

According to Davis, he was quite surprised that he was so quick among the lot and thought of going a little more of the distance. Davis comes from the town of Southwest Georgia in Nashville.

Both the fighters immediately came head to head and Davis came up with a hard left hook. Davis was put against the fence by Hunter and thus scored a double leg takedown. In the process Hunter landed in the guillotine of Davis thus cutting off the artery. Thus he could only manage to tap out rather pass out.

Later Davis told that it was quite exciting for him to fight in a bigger show. Earlier he used to compete in smaller shows and thus lead to much more excitement in the whole process. Playing basketball in college and high school has helped a lot to Davis and he tends to be quite comfortable to compete in front of a large crowd and thus does not get nervous.
