Frankie Edgar will fight against Hermes Franca

Franca (18-6) was out of the tournament for steroid stemming and will be returning after a suspension of one year. This happened last July at the UFC lightweight bout competing against Sean Sherk. He had an injured ankle and admitted to using Drostanolone to speed up the healing process rather than pull out of the fight.

After dropping a unanimous decision to Xtreme Couture's Gray Maynard the New Jersey native suffered his first carrier loss. Frankie Edgar will compete against Hermes Franca.

Edgar Competed against Tyson Griffin, Spencer Fisher and Mark Bocek and defeated them all in his 3 UFC Appearances.

UFC 87 is held at the Target Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Chris Wilson-Steve Bruno, Ben Saunders-Jared Rollins, Cheick Kongo-Dan Evenson were made official for UFC 87.
