Franklin Vs Silva, Franklin moved to 205

Atlanta, Rich Franklin will fight against former TUF star Matt Hamill at UFC 88. Franklin will fight in the light heavyweight category for the first time since 2005.

Franklin has defeated every other middleweight placed in his path. However, rumours have carried on to his second loss to Anderson Silva while he moved to 205. Everyone i.e. the fans and Franklin himself is interested in the third Franklin v. Silva fight.

Franklin will face Dan Henderson (former middleweight champion) and would effectively eliminate him from title with a victory. Franklin, just like Silva has cleaned out the 185 division.

The move to light weight opens up a wealth of matches for Franklin. Hamill lost to Michael Bisping and hence his record was spoiled due to a controversial decision. He sits at 4-1 within the UFC. In July, Anderson Silva made his light heavyweight debut against James Irvin. Franklin makes a move to 205 at the same time as his opponents.

Chuck Liddell will fight against Rashad Evans at the UFC 88. It is a light heavyweight clash between both fighters.

Both the fighters are looking up to the event and are really excited about the match. The match will definitely be an exciting one as both the players are fighting for their reputation.
