Middleweight Grand Prix 2008 2nd Round at Saitama, Japan

In June, Middleweight Grand Prix 2008 2nd Round will take place at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. Some interesting middleweight matches will take place in this version of DREAM. One of the interesting matched of night will be between Jason “Mayhem” Miller (21-5) and Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza (8-1).

Miller has reasonable power on his feet with some solid technical striking skills and is a very well rounded fighter. He has some of the best submissions and a very strong guard in the middleweight category.

Souza has very strong ground control and is an elite submission fighter. He possesses strong takedowns and takedowns defence. Souza is not bad in terms of striking.

Opinion about this match is that Mayhem will be a better man on his feet as he will surprise Souza with his ground skills. This match could prove to be one of the most interesting fights of the night. If miller succeeds and tries to keep this one standing then he might be able to pull out a TKO.
