Filipino American from Sacramento, California, wants to be a part of World Extreme Cage fighting.
After the light heavyweight 6-foot win, Munoz has become a favourite among UFC officials. Munoz had beaten Grigsby 6 foot 5 with his muay and wrestling skills in 45 seconds in the first round.
Grigsby was unconscious on the mat after Munoz threw many punches on his head. Grigsby had won his last eight fights before Munoz stopped his winning steak.
Grigsby, 35 year old, suffered his fourth defeat at the Acro Arena on June 1. He was carried out of the octagon on a stretcher.
Munoz, 2001 NCAA wrestling champion at Oklahoma State said that it was electrifying out there. He did not expect so many people to show up and cheer his name.
Vera, a Italian MMA Filipino fighter will train Munoz who’s career is on the rise and is preparing to move to San Diego within the month. Vera regularly competes in the UFC.
Munoz has immense strength and is tough in the cage. He possesses Filipino traits just like Vera. UFC president Dana white plans to bring Munoz and Vera in a UFC and WEC fight card in Philippines.
