Russow Review vs Guida - Adrenaline MMA

The inaugural event of Adrenaline MMA came to us absolutely live from the centre of Sears in Hoffman. The main event was between Jason Guida and Mike Russow which acted as a disappointment after Jeff Monson has been forced to step out due to an injury caused to him. It was well understood that Bart Palaszewski, Terry Martin and Rory Markham were also on the cards providing some sort of the familiar faces.

Well there were certain things which did not start off well as the commentators Kenny Rice and Bas Rutten could not be heard above the music introduced.

As Joe Jordan said young, skilled and tough guy referring to Ryan Williams before the fight.

Initially Williams started off throwing a low kick which was easily caught by Jordan. Just after a few moments the lesser experienced Williams was all thrown over to the canvas and was even punched a few times before backing up. Jordan even seemed to land more of the strikes but missed to connect a lot of times. Williams landed up with more strikes from a distance with straight rights and low kicks. In the third saw Jordan was hot home with much harder strikes. Finally Jordan won by a unanimous decision and he finally got it.
