The dark side of Mixed Martial Arts

Tennessee has established a new Athletic Commission that will include Mixed Martial Arts along the lines of boxing and kick-boxing among the sports allowed. Toughman, the more brutal form of fighting is still banned in Tennessee.

The term “martial arts” suggests the concept of a disciplined and skilled art form that many children are taught as a part of character-building activity. But the fight that is conducted in the ring has very little or no discipline. It is said that it has become safe after introducing new rules but it does not look like. It is a pool of blood which is viewed as a good thing.

Some of the worst scenes that you cannot even imagine will take place in front of you in mixed martial arts. For instance, what if someone will not only get hurt but will also die in front of your eyes.

You must be thinking that why does Tennessee entertain such behaviour. It is because it earns a lot of money. Mixed martial arts is considered as the fastest growing sport in America. It is really very hard to determine which is more difficult to intake: hearing the fighters explain how this sport helps to develop self-esteem and how they hope to help their neighbourhoods and the people close to them or some of the worst images of mixed martial arts.
