David Terrell - The Soul Assassin

David Terrell was born on January 9, 1978 in Sacramento, California. He was brought up along with his older brother and younger sister. When David Terrell was 12, he moved to Santa Rosa, California; where he still dwells. His initiated his fighting skills by taking up wrestling in Junior High School. David soon developed adoration for individual competitive sports.
It was around this time that David encountered a new championship sport called “Ultimate Fighting Championship” (UFC). He joined the Caesar Gracie Academy to start training for Brazilian Jui-Jitsu. David Terrell mastered the art quickly. He proved his superiority in the grueling tournaments and earned his black belt in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu.
David Terrell soon established a place for himself among the best grapplers in the United States. He has earned the titles of Sacramento Submission Tournament Champion, Grapplers Quest 2002 Absolute Champion and twice Gracie Open Superfight Champion. David grabbed the 3rd position at Abu-Dhabi in 2003. David holds stunning victories over a vast number of A-grade grapplers including Dena Lister, Ricardo Almeida, Cameron Earle and "Margarida". He himself has never been scored on by his opponent in grappling.
It was long after his success in grappling competitions that David Terrell entered Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). Currently he is 5-2 in MMA championship, where he claimed the IFC Light Heavyweight Championship. In Japan’s Pancrase Organization, David Terrell holds the #4 ranking. In 2004, David made his debut in UFC, where he had to compete with the champion Middleweight contender Matt "The Law" Lindland. David defeated Lindland in just 25 seconds and made headlines right in his UFC debut.
Currently, David Terrell owns his own personal fighting school named Nor-Cal Fighting Alliance in Santa Rosa. He trains and instructs at his school. The school has produced many dexterous students.
