Drew Fickett - The Master

Drew Fickett developed interest in mixed martial arts while he was wrestling at a community college in Tucson, Arizona. Initially, Drew participated in ‘Rage in the Cage’ and emerged victorious in the fights.
Drew Fickett made his UFC debut at UFC 51. Unfortunately, he suffered a defeat against Nick Diaz. However, the fight against Nick Diaz opened up whole new dimensions for Drew in the world of MMA and he started preparing himself to fight against worthy opponents.
One day, Drew Fickett attended a small show as a fan in AZ. Apparently, an opponent dropped out in the last minute. Drew Fickett immediately jumped in as the replacement and accepted the challenge. Defeating his opponents, he dominated the ring.
After his bout with Nick Diaz, Drew Fickett was set to take upon a tough opponent, Brandon Melendez. Drew moved to CO for his fight against Melendez. He ended the fight in 2:27 of Round 1 and emerged victorious by RNC.
The UFC invited Drew Fickett when they needed a replacement to fight Josh Neer. Drew Fickett grabbed the opportunity and made the most of it. He knocked down Josh Neer in 1:35 of Round 1 by RNC.
Drew Fickett’s next fight in UFC was against the undefeated wrestling champion from TUF Season 1, Josh Koscheck. With only 22 seconds left for the match, Drew Fickett choked Josh Kocheck unconscious.
He also faced another TUF champion, Josh Burkman. Unfortunately, Drew Fickett lost early in the fight at 1:07 of Round 1.

Drew Fickett faced his toughest opponent when a fight was fixed between him and the former champion contender, Karo Parisyan. The fight proved to be very gruesome, but in the end Karo won by unanimous decision. The fight was deemed by UFC as “Fight of the Night”.
