Duane Ludwig was born on August 4, 1978 in Denver, Colorado. He is an American kickboxer and a professional MMA fighter. His interest in martial arts grew when he started practicing Muay Thai when he was 15 years of age.
Duane Ludwig holds the unofficial knockout record at 4 seconds. He achieved this astonishing feat by knocking out Jonathan Goulet. However, the Nevada State Athletic Commission sets the official record at 11 seconds due to a timing error.
He has fought 48 professional kickboxing fights and holds a stunning 43 wins, 9 KO’s and 5 losses. Duane Ludwig also holds an impressive career in professional mixed martial arts too. He has fought 20 fights with 14 wins and 6 losses.
On August 21, 1999, Duane Ludwig defeated Terrace James of A.K.K.A. by unanimous decision in Broomfield, Colorado. This victory earned him his IKF U.S. Super Middleweight Muay Thai Title.
On September 5, 1999, Duane Ludwig defeated Rob Wiley of Omaha Nebraska by unanimous decision and became the IKF Ringside US National Light Middleweight Muay Thai Tournament Champion.
