Fabricio, also called “Vai Cavalo”, is a famous mixed martial arts fighter from Brazil. He was born on 30th July 1977 in Porto Alegre, Brazil. His records position him with 9 wins, 3 losses and 1 draw. He weighs 107 kgs and is 1.93 m tall.

As a child, Fabrico was always restless and seeking for adventure. He was living alone at the age of 15 in Brazil. It was here, where he learned to be independent, and built himself as a person. It was in 1999, after returning back to Brazil, when he started training for “Jiu Jitsu”. Initially he never believed in Martial arts, but once he started Jiu Jitsu, he started to enjoy it to the fullest. He then started training “Jiu Jitsu” for up to eight hours a day, while he was training under “Marcio Corletta” in the “Porto Alegre’’ Academy.

Fabricio then won numerous trophies and titles, in 'Brazalian Jiu-Jitsu' and submission wrestling.

Some of the BJJ titles won by Febrico Include:

  • South of Brazil Championship in 1999 and 2002
  • European Championship in 1999,2000,2001,2002 and 2003
  • US Open in 2003
  • World JJ championship in 2000,2001,2002 and 2003
  • World JJ cup in 2004
  • Panamerican JJ championship in 2000,2001,2002 and 2003

Other Submission Wrestling titles include:

  • BIG championship in 2002
  • Millenium London in 2002
  • ADCC wieght in 2003 and 2005
  • Jungle Fight in 2003 and 2004
  • Waff Morroco in 2003

It was on 16th June, when he moved on to make his career in MMA, through his first win against 'Tengiz Teforadze' at the 'MB 7 Millennium Brawl 7'. He was then seen fighting at the 'WAFF 2 Wold Absolute Fight 2' in 2003, where he won a submission against Kristof Midoux. Fabricio was then seen in 'Jungle Fight 1 and 2' where he defeated 'Gabriel Gonzaga' and 'Ebenezer Fontes Braga'. He made his debut in 'PRIDE' at the 'PRIDE 29 Fists if Fire' in 2005, where he won a submission against 'Tom Erikson'. Fabricio was last seen in 2007 at the 'Ultimate Fighting Championships' where he lost against 'Andrei Arlovski'.

Fabricio is known for his willingness to face the future with optimisim. He has had a tragic time of his life, after the death of his professor and very close friend 'Mauricao', but he has moved ahead, and put his strength together to face other huge fights. He is always willing to pass his knowldege to the future of MMA, by trianing many MMA artists. This attitude of his, has helped him to generate his own new team of MMA artists.
