Karo Parisyan

Karo Parisyan "The Heat" a twenty four year old mixed martial art fighter. Gifted with excellent grappling techniques and throwing power, Karo Parisyan is five feet and ten inches tall and weights one seventy kilogram. In the list of hias thirty match career, Karo Parisyan has won seventeen matches and lost four. His main style of fighting ids judo but he does not use Judogi. For thirteen years, Parisyan tutored under Hayastan Grappling System which is modified by Gokor Chivichyan and “Judo” Gene LeBell style, which is as amalgamation of Judo, Sambo, freestyle Greco-Roman wrestling, and Muay Thai. Karo is well known for his atheletic skills, and is considered to be a gifted MMA fighter who has perfected the craft of Octagon. At a young age of fourteen, Karo defeated twenty three year old Muay Thai- a jiu- jitsu expert.
Parisyan made his debut in UFC competition on September 2003, by beating Dave Strasser through Kimura lock.Since then he has won seven matches and has remained in a great shape with almost on the top of every tournament of UFC’s welterweight division except two losses with Georges St. Pierre and Diego Sanchez. Karo is currently working as a MMA trainer in the WFA Legends gym along with Jason "Mayhem" Miller, Randy Couture and Bas Rutten.
Known to be a low key fighter, Karo has always been a dedicated fighter who never banks on the opportunity of mudslinging against opponents as he is humble and mature enough to understand the uncertainty of a fight. Thus, he lets his skill do the talking instead of basking in the limelight of media spotlight. Karo is a vigilant fighter who is aware of the issues such as burn-out and related effects which revolve around the life of a professional fighter thus he tries to remain focused and not to lose one’s composure and keep one’s fitness levels at its best. For him it is necessary to remain mentally and physically fit so as to win the UFC championship belt. Remembering about his teen exploits, Karo feels glad and is happy that he took professional MMA for more than fifteen years. He feels elated that he won over guys who were double than his age. For Karo, judo was a childhood curiosity which he mastered with perfection.
Karo sees professional fighting as his guiding force which he feels that he can never leave. If not fighting, Karo likes training and keeping high level of fitness. His heart lies in winning the UFC championship belt and to prove his mettle in the ring. This is his prowess and he swears to live by it. At twenty four, he feels that he is still young and fully capable of defending any title belt. He has full conviction on his fighting prowess and is prepared for every challenge. For him fighting is a passion which drives him for the very best.
