Kit Cope

Kit Cope

Kit Cope is an American mixed martial arts fighter, television personality and kickboxer. Also known as "The Havoc", he was born on 17 march, 1977 in Arizona. He is the winner of various championships like Welterweight, Thailand bare knuckle champion 2004 and California State wrestling runner up. Some of his other accolades are JR. middleweight, four time world champion, Muay Thai World heavyweight winner and twice winner of Nevada State wrestling competition. He was also a part of us kickboxing squad in 1995.

He is presently working as an instructor with LA boxing. He has also been a part of ‘fear factor’, a famous game show in 2004. He has been liked by people as television host. This is evident from the number of television episodes he has appeared in. He was one of the hosts of Wild World of Spike. The serial features amateur sports recording, and hosts try to recreate the recording.

Some of the opponents of this six feet tall martial art fighter are Rob McCullough, William Sriyrapai, Kenny Florian and Mike Lucero. During his stint as a part of MTV' True Life series in Muay Thai, it showed his journey and training to Thailand. In Thailand, he emerged victorious in a knucke match against Mojo, a Burmese fighter.

The professional journey of Kit “the Havoc” Cope has its own ups and down. He has tested positive for drug Boldenone. The drug is mainly given to horses, and can be detected even months after consuming it. He was fined $ 1167 and suspended for nine months. In his last fight in 2007 at World Extreme Cagefighting, he lost to Rob McCullough. Kit Cope is training very hard to improve his fighting skills.

He initially started as a professional boxer and later entered in the sport of martial arts. He currently trains with Team Punishment along with the champions of Ultimate Fighting Championship or UFC. UFC is an organization located in North America which consists of mixed martial arts fighters. It is under the ownership and supervision of Zuffa, LLC.

Started as a championship, popularity of UFC has declined over the years because of the excessive bloodshed involved in its fight. It was based on vale tudo fighting, a Brazilian concept. It aims to find the best fighters in the world.

Judges' Decision depends on score, and is arrived through - majority draw, unanimous decision, split draw, split decision and majority decision. Submission is a way in which a fighter verbally submits, while in Knockout a fighter is unable to continue the game. Besides, the game can also conclude with a forfeit, technical decision, no contest or disqualification.
