Know about me: Trevor Prangley

Trevor Prangley is an amazing fighter who is known for his strong grit and determination in the MMA fighting circuit where he became a pro fight champion after winning a string of nineteen fights. Born on 24th August 1972 in Cape Town, South Africa, Trevor was inducted into wrestling school by his father at a tender age of four. During this time Trevor was ignorant of what he was doing in his life yet this decision became his destiny which gave him popularity and success through professional fighting. Trevor, who is six feet and one inch tall and weights around 185 lbs. started his early career in Couer d’Alene, Idaho as a middle weight fighter.
He was also an Olympic game enthusiast in wrestling who even tried to make in the side of national team (South Africa) but missed the opportunity with a close nick. This was a big blow to his dreams and he further decided that he will move to United States of America where he could get professional training which was missing in South Africa. In the North Idaho College, Trevor became famous for his fighting skills which were a successful combination of wrestling technique. In NID, Trevor won many prestigious records and ultimately achieved an all American fighter status. However during his second year match, Trevor got injured by tearing his anterior cruciate ligament of knee, and he had to settle for the position of runner up in the competition. This again came as a rude shock to his national championship dreams as he was physically unfit to fight in any future events for the next couple of months. However luck favored Trevor as he was getting plum offers to continue wrestling after his recovery. This made Trevor struggle hade to get back into shape and to become fight fit for the events of the upcoming seasons. Thus, Trevor enrolled himself in a Jiu-Jitsu school and started training along with his recovery program. In 1998, Trevor made his debut in the professional MMA (Mixed Martial Art) circuit. Though he lost his initial match but he found that his future lies in Mixed Martial Art fight circuit. This was the determination which made him mentally and physically strong enough to win nineteen matches in a row without any failure and arose to a pro-position in the year 2001.
Trevor also participated in UFC event and felt the need to remain in a middle weight category in which he found comfortable and fit enough to fight with agility and perfection. Trevor feels that in MMA circuit, his strength lies in wrestling and punch power prowess. He feels that his grappling techniques make him invincible against opponent. His track record is as follows; his won over Travis Lutter, Matt Horwich, Curtis Stout, Andrei Semenov, Shane Schartzer, Chael Sonnen, Manny Valera, Joe Garcia, Kyle Seals and Darcy Landcaster. He lost matches to Chael Sonnen, Jeremy Horn, Ricco Hatting and Sobral.
Trevor is firm believer in Jesus Christ and feels that all the fighters imparted him useful lessons and he fees indebted to them for improving his fighting skills.
